Only Showing 5 Cups. View All CupsLive On 3 Cup is dedicated to bringing high quality gaming tournaments to the whole gaming community. With the web site currently in its BETA stage we will be running some 16 team cups over the coming weeks to test out our systems.
Subject to popularity, future tournaments once out of the BETA development stages will be hosted with excellent prizes comprising of various gaming formats. (2 v 2, 3 v 3, MR9, MR12 etc).

Its has nearly been a whole month ( and 5 cups!) since the last news item :o. Since the last news item alot of new and exciting things have been happening in the world of lo3cup. Hopefully its not another month till the next news update ;)
Well done to our winners from the previous cups: fm! SilveN, awol.eu, Perception, fm! SilveN and plus46. Next big cup is our first 64 team three night cup, and one to hopefully mark our 4 month aniverary and the out-of-beta cup. For those who like statistics we would like to share some fantastic achievements that lo3cup has reached in the last 4 months (all correct at the time of writing!):
* 1,000,768 website hits since we started recording on the 13th June.
* 100,000+ lines of code.
* 80,000 hits is the current record for one cup
* 34,000 website hits (average) per cup..
* 1973 Registered users
* 468+ Lo3Cup Matches.
* 448 teams/clans
* 258 servers currently in database (556 have been added)
* 112 days the website has been live
* 30 Cups
* 4 GB of traffic per month.
Website Changes
* Improved Team Seach, which was requested by many users
* Better GameID system, allows for more GameIDs to be added per player
* Recover a team, if the team has no leader during the creation stage
* Admins can now change a Team Name and Team Tag
* New Forums! - http://www.lo3community.co.uk/
* Small bug fixes.
New Features Currently in Development
* Leagues for any amount of teams, groups and stages.

| New XAC Rules, Website Changes, New Admins | 23/07/2008 |
Due to some problems we have all been experiencing with XAC we have changed our rules to make cups run more smoothly. XAC will not be used in cups spanning one or two days, as there is often a large delay for screenshot uploads and profile updates .For longer cups (more then 2 nights/days) then XAC must be used. This rule change will take effect immediately. Instead all players must record a personal demo. If an admin needs to contact you for a personal demo, then they will use the contact information which you have entered on the website. Please make sure they are correct. To edit your contact details please click here once logged in.
A new feature we have added to Lo3Cup is the "awards system", there are two types of awards, Special Awards and Cup Awards. Check out xplor who has the most awards. These awards will be given out after each cup.
We have also got three new members to the admin team, RhinO, Zer0 and Piltch. They are all in-game match admins.
Website Changes
Over the last week, lots of small website updates have taken place. Another 18,000 lines of code has been added to the system. If you find a bug or anything strange, then please contact us.

* Scorebot Bug which gave users a 500 error.
* User's Personal Cup Desktop. (BETA)
* User Interface Changes - Grey fade and more icons.
* Official Server Time on the home page.
* Message to see how many new members want to join a team before they are approved.
* Latest 5 Cups on the home page.
* You can now "Reject" people in the roster, rather then accepting them, then deleting them.
* You can now see how many cups a team has entered by clicking "View cups entered by this team"
* Timestamps on members on roster, when team was created and when a score was entered
* Admins can now reset and change a user's password.

| A new milestone for Lo3Cup, over 1000 registered users! | 18/07/2008 |
Thanks to all 107 people who filled in the LAN Event Questionnaire, and we have some valuable information about LANs which will help us in the future to provide some great events! ;-)
On 12/07/2008 at exactly 16:48:26 Lo3Cup reached a new milestone. We now have over 1000 registered users in the system, which totals up to over 1500 team members in over 334 teams/clans. So far Lo3Cup has been a great success in providing high quality online Gaming Cups, and the success will continue well into the future.
We are getting nearer and nearer to coming out of the BETA stage of the system. We will be running a couple more CSS and COD4 cups aswell as some "fun" cups such as 3v3s and "only this weapon" cup.
Website Updates
* Fixed small bugs in the system which gave users a 500 Server Error (these are
all nearly fixed now!)
* Added a Scorebot system to allow the players to enter their match score on
the website.
