Starcraft II Official Lo3Cup.co.uk Rules

1. General

1.1 The Lo3Cup StarCraft II Cup is a StarCraft II 1on1 tournament. Every participant must own a StarCraft 2 Account to participate.

1.2 You need to enter your Battle.net account in your profile. Without a valid Battle.net account you are not eligible to participate in this tournament.

1.3 Only players from EU are viable to enter cups due to Battle.net not allowing connection to USA and ASIA Battle.net servers

2. Tournament

2.1 The Lo3Cups StarCraft II Cup is played in a Single Elimination grid in best of one mode until the quarter finals. After that quarter finals will be played in a Best of three mode. First map played will be pre-chosen before the match start, after that the loser chooses next map to be played. Maps may only be played once during best of three.

2.2 The match will start when both participant's are ready to play.

2.3 If a match is unable to be played the admin team must be notified within adequate time. If a player does not show up within 10 minutes of match time they will be given a default loss.

2.4 After finishing a game, the winner has to update match status on the website within adequate time.

3. Hosts

3.1 Both players have to decide on who will be hosting the game.

3.2 If the wrong map is chosen, the match will have to be remade to the correct map unless players agree on playing the incorrect map.

4. Coverage

4.1 If a match is disputed then a replay must be uploaded and link provided to an admin.

4.1.1 By participating in the StarCraft II Cup every player agrees that the all replays of the regarding tournament may be distributed to the coverage partners.

5. Cheats & Barring

5.1 The use of cheats, map hacks or third-party-tools is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate disqualification from currently running and future cups.

5.2 It is forbidden to listen to shout casts of your own games during the match should one be taking place.

5.3. The tournament administration reserves itself the right to ban players from the tournament who are barred in other leagues because of cheating or unfair behaviour cheating.

6. Disputes

6.1 Disputes will be reported to the admin team, and dealt with swiftly

6.2 If a dispute is made, adequate evidence is required. i.e. replays must be provided for administrators to review a dispute.

6.3 Lo3cup admins reserve the right to disqualify you if they feel you are trying to stall the dispute process.

7. Maps

7.1 The following maps are part of the map pool:
- Crossfire SE
-Scrap Station
-The Shattered Temple
-Metalopolis
-iCCup TestBug
-Shakuras Plateau
-Xel'Naga Caverns

8. Replays

8.1 Replays have to be saved until the tournament is finished.

9. Disconnects

9.1 If a player disconnects in the first 4 minutes of the game then the game will be restarting aslong as the player that disconnects can restart within 2 minutes.

9.2 If a player disconnects after 4 minutes into the game then the game will be marked as a loss to the player that disconnected.

9.3 If the same player disconnects after the game has restarted then the game will be marked as a loss to the player that disconnected.

10. Admins and referees.

10.1 Players have to obey the instructions of the referees.

10.2 Disputes must be reported to admins or referees

10.3 Any breach of the rules might be punished with a default loss or a disqualification.

10.4 The Lo3Cups StarCraft II Cup rules can be changed or expanded by the organisers at any point. The responsible referees have the possibility to change, modify, or reinterpret the rules at their own discretion.
